How can we strengthen British values?

Through sport – there’s a great buzz in the air during major sporting competitions. I think the 2012 Olympics games will be a great way of showcasing British talent and our values to the rest of the
world.

too right - I agree, history can be a really good topic. Its really important to know about the past.

It’s really hard to define ‘Britishness’ and British values. We were asked about this at school the other week and we went round and round in circles. At the end of the discussion, being British was
many things – respectful, friendly, wise and a fondness of queuing!
